The General Radio 1205-B Variable Power Supply was introduced in Catalog P (1959) and remained available through Catalog S (1965).

The Type 1205-B is a general purpose variable power supply having three outputs; high voltage, bias supply and heater supplies capable of 6.3 V/10 A or 12.6 V/5 A. The high voltage is regulated and continuously variable up to 300 V at 200 mA and a fixed bias at -150 V at 5 mA maximum. The rear cover is fitted with a cooling fan with spring contacts simplifies service. Connecting unit instruments to the 1205-B is made with a connector on right side of the instrument.
