The Type 1263-C power supply is designed to work with unit VHF and UHF oscillators. It's purpose is to maintain oscillator output at a set level regardless of frequency. This is accomplished by adjusting plate current supplied by the 1263-C. The level is set by a front panel control and read on the panel meter. This leveling of oscillator output facilitates response measurements and assists sweep operation. Blanking jacks are provided to blank or cut of the oscillator output during return trace during swept operation. Modulation is provided by an internal 1 kHz square wave generator and separate cable. The 874-VR is required to monitor unit oscillator output.

Specifications

  • Rf Output Voltage: 0.2 to 2.0 V at 50 Ω
  • Rf Output Regulation: Below 500 MHz, rf output ±5% with recommended Unit Oscillators
  • Modulation Frequency: 1-kc square-wave, adjustable ±5%
  • Plate Supply Output: 0 to 300 volts at 30 mA
  • Heater Supply Output: 6 V at 0.5 amp, 5.4 V at 0.7 amp (1263-B)
