The General Radio 349 Tube Socket was introduced in Bulletin 926 (1924) and remained available through Catalog H (1935).
The Type 349 is a four pin vacuum tube socket designed for UX type tubes. Its a surface mount design with solder tabs and screw type connections. Looking closely at the top view one can see the socket is labled with triode tube elements.
