The Type 1234 Standing-Wave Meter is a low noise three stage tuned amplifier operating at a frequency 1 kHz. Its designed to measure standing waves (maximums and minimums) when paired with a slotted line like [[874-LB]]. Either a crystal rectifier or a bolometer can be used as a detector. The panel meter is equipped with lamps at the far end of each scale to indicate which is in use. There are also ac and dc outputs for use with a recorder. | The Type 1234 Standing-Wave Meter is a low noise three stage tuned amplifier operating at a frequency 1 kHz.
