1633-A
The General Radio 1633-A Incremental Inductance Bridge was introduced in 1968 Catalog T and remained available through Catalog 1978.
The Type 1633-A is specifically designed for the measurement of iron-core inductors such as transformers, chokes and other coils with ferromagnetic cores. It's built in detector which is selective at nine specific frequencies is designed with a narrow band with reducing harmonics generated in the unknown. The 1633-A requires an external generator with the power required to saturate the unknown to the desired level. The Types 1265-A DC Power Supply and 1308-A Audio Oscillator generator combination along with the 1633-A make up the 1630-AV Inductance Measuring Assembly.
