The Type 1401-A is 100 pF two terminal air capacitor designed as a laboratory reference or working capacitance standard. It features all aluminum construction with shielded cover. Connections are Type 274 plugs spaced ¾ inches on center. This spacing matches the Type 716-C making them useful as balancing capacitors when performing substitution measurements. The Type 1401-A is one of four in the series. For an overview of these capacitors see Type 1401 Series.

Specifications

  • Insertion Capacitance: 100 pF
  • Initial Accuracy: 0.2%
  • Peak Voltage: 1500 V
