The General Radio 908-P1 Synchronous Dial Drive was introduced in Catalog O (1956) and remained available through Catalog S (1965).
The Type 908-P1 is a synchronous dial drive with a pinion speed of 4 rpm. Its function is to sweep the dial of the attached instrument at a speed synchronous with a graphic recorder 1521-A. It features two sets of attaching screws for instruments with Type 908 and 907 dial mechanisms. The 908-P1 is self reversing when it encounters a mechanical stop. Applications include plotting frequency versus amplitude.
Below is a list of compatible oscillators.
