The 1360-B Microwave Oscillatorwas introduced in 1965 Catalog S and remained available to Catalog U 1970.

The 1360-B is an upgrade from 1360-A with improvements in amplitude and frequency stability. The oscillator uses a Type 5836 Reflex Klystron in a coaxial cavity. An interesting feature is the band switch is built into the frequency dial with panel lamps indicating what band you using.

Specifications

  • Frequency Range: 1.7 to 4.1 GHz in two ranges.
  • Accuracy: ±1% of dial reading.
  • Stability: Warm-up drift is approximately 0.15% during the first hour, total drift approximately 0.25%.
  • Output Power: Typically more than 100 mW above 2 GHz. Total variation in maximum output with frequency is 20 to approximately 300 mW.
