The General Radio KNS-8GY Fluted Knob was available in Catalog S (1965) only.
The Type KNSP-8GY is a fluted type knob with skirt diameter of 1-5/16". It accepts both 3/8" and 1/4" shafts using a supplied bushing. It is constructed of gray thermo-setting plastic and has no pointer. The Type KNS-8GY is designed to accept dial plates, 970-P1 and 970-P2 if required.
