The General Radio KNS-8 Fluted Knob was introduced in Catalog O (1956) and remained available through Catalog S (1965).
The Type KNS-8 is a fluted type knob with skirt diameter of 1-5/16". It accepts both 3/8" and 1/4" shafts using a supplied bushing. Its constructed of black phenolic resin without a pointer. The Type KNS-8 is designed to accept dial plates, 970-P1 and 970-P2 if required.
