The General Radio 908-P2 Synchronous Dial Drive was introduced in Catalog O (1956) and remained available through Catalog S (1965).
The Type 908-P2 is a synchronous dial drive with a pinion speed of 30 rpm. Its function is to sweep the dial of the attached instrument at a rate synchronous with an oscilloscope. It features two sets of attaching screws for instruments with Type 908 and 907 dial mechanisms. The 908-P2 is self reversing when it encounters a mechanical stop.
