The General Radio 1450-TB is a decade attenuator introduced in Catalog L (1948). It remained available through Template:Catalog 78.

The 1450-TB is part of a series of decade attenuators based on the Type 829-TA, 829-TB, 829-TC "T"-type unbalanced attenuator units. It contains three of these units to obtain 111 dB of attenuation in 0.1 dB steps at 600 Ω.

Using the supplied chart, corrections for mismatch of input and or output impedance can be calculated. See below for the rack mounted version 1450-TBR.

Specifications

  • Attenuation: 111 dB in steps of 0.1 dB
  • Input Impedance: 600 Ω
  • Output Impedance: 600 Ω
  • Frequency Discrimination: Less than ±1% of the indicated value at 1 MHz
