The General Radio 1150-B Digital Frequency Meter, a general-purpose frequency meter and event counter, was only available in Catalog S (1965). It is an improvement on the 1150-A with higher frequency range and trigger control.

The display consists of five "Numerik" incandescent readouts (see IND-0300 and IND-1801 for details). It is interesting to note that if a lamp fails, the counter will stop at that digit because the lamp is part of the counting circuit.

Specifications

  • Frequency Range: 10 Hz to 400 kHz
  • Sensitivity 0.1 Vp-p at 100 kΩ or 1 Vp-p at 1 MΩ
  • Accuracy: ± 1 count ± crystal-oscillator stability
  • Input Impedance: 1 MΩ // 50 pF, or 100 kΩ// 500 pF, switch-selected
