The General Radio 1000-P10 Shielded Test Loop was introduced in Catalog M (1951) and remained available through Catalog 1973.
The Type 1000-P10 Shielded Test Loop is a signal generator accessory used for the alignment and testing of radio receivers. It radiates a test signal for receivers equipped with loop antennas. The field strength in volts per meter, 19 inches from the loop, is one-tenth the generator output in volts, with a 50-ohm generator. The 1001-P10 is identical to the Type 1000-P10.
Specifications
- Frequency: 3 MHz, maximum
- Accuracy: ±10% (±5% is typical); with 1001-A Standard Signal Generator, ±15% (±10% is typical).
