The General Radio KNS-6 Fluted Knob was introduced in Catalog N (1954) and remained available through Catalog S (1965).
The Type KNS-6 is a fluted type knob with skirt diameter of 1-5/16". It accepts both 3/8" and 1/4" shafts using a supplied bushing. It is constructed of black phenolic resin and has no pointer.
