The General Radio 1201-C Unit Regulated Power Supply was available in Catalog S (1965) only. It is an upgraded version of the 1201-B featuring a hybrid design with a transistorized regulator, and a zener diode replacing the voltage reference tube.
The 300 V output is regulated, the heater supply is unregulated. Both power supplies are isolated from ground.
With its five-pin power connector located on the right side panel, the 1201-C is compatible with most unit instruments.
Specifications
- Outputs
- High Voltage: 300 VDC at 70 mA
- Heater Voltage: 6.3 VAC at 4 A (unregulated)
- Regulation: 0.25% with maximum line and load variations combined
- Ripple: Less than 1 mVRMS at full load, 120 Hz
