The 1398-A is a general purpose Pulse Generator for lab use. Its an upgrade of the Type 1217-C having its built in power supply with a faster rise time and increased output. Being a hybrid with tubes in the output stage and transistors in the Trigger/Multivibrator circuit.
Specifications
- PRF: 2.5 Hz to 1.2 MHz, internal control
- PRF: DC to 2.4 MHz, external control
- Pulse Duration: 100 ns to 1 s
- Rise and Fall Time: 5 ns into 50 or 100 Ω
- Output: 60 mA, positive and negative
