The General Radio 1218-B Unit Oscillator introduced in Catalog S (1965) and remained available through Catalog 1978 in the form of the 1218-BV model.
The 1218-B is an updated version of Type 1218-A with improved frequency stability, and an updated Delta Frequency control for precise frequency adjustment. Being part of the Unit Oscillator family, it requires a separate power supply or a modulating power supply.
Specifications
- Frequency Range: 900 to 2000 MHz in one range
- Frequency Calibration Accuracy: ±1%
- Warmup Frequency Drift: 0.1% approximate total warmup drift
- Output Power: 200 mW into 50 Ω (see manual)
