The General Radio 1156-A Decade Scaler introduced in Catalog S (1965) and remained available through Catalog T (1968).
The 1156-A is a 10 to 1 divider used to pre scale the input signal to a frequency meter or counter. Pairing the 1156-A to a GR counter is made easier by incorporating input and output connectors that can be relocated to the rear of the instrument. Included are covers for the relocated connector holes to make a clean installation.
