The General Radio 1218-B Unit Oscillator introduced in Catalog S (1965) and remained available through Catalog 1978.
The 1218-B is an updated version of 1218-A with improved frequency stability, the updated Delta Frequency control for precise frequency control. Being part of the Unit Oscillator family it requires a separate power supply or a modulating power supply.
Specifications
- Frequency Range: 900 to 2000 MHz in one range.
- Frequency Calibration Accuracy: ±1%.
- Warmup Frequency Drift: 0.1% approximate total warmup drift.
- Output Power: 200 mW into 50 Ω (See Manual).
