The General Radio 1153-A Digital Frequency Meter, a general-purpose frequency meter and event counter, was available in Catalog S 1965 only.

The display consists of five "Numerik" incandescent readouts (see IND-0300 and IND-1801 for details). It is interesting to note that if a lamp fails, the counter will stop at that digit because the lamp is part of the counting circuit.
