The General Radio 1521-P10B Drive Unit was introduced in Catalog S (1965) and remained available through Catalog 1973.
The Type 1521-P10B is an accessory for the 1521-B Graphic Level Recorder that enables the recorder to drive an external instrument. It replaces the Type 1521-A drive. The new version encloses the limit switch mechanism. Two adjustable limit switches are provided, stopping the recorder drive to protect the connected instrument. Two thumbwheels located at the top of the drive adjust the limits. The drive has three modes of operation – Idle, Slip, and Non-Slip.
